This policy explains what Sportik collects when you use the app or this website, and how it's used. It applies to the Sportik Android app and to sportik.in and its subdomains.
Information we collect
When you sign in to organize or join a tournament, we collect the account information provided by your sign-in method (such as your name, email address, and profile photo from Google Sign-In), plus the tournament data you create - teams, players, matches, and results.
Public tournament pages (accessed via a share link or QR code) don't require sign-in and don't collect personal data from viewers beyond standard web server logs.
How we use it
Account and tournament data is used to operate the app: to show your tournaments, run the draw, generate fixtures, and display brackets and standings to anyone you share the tournament with. We don't sell personal data to third parties.
Where it's stored
Tournament and account data is stored with Supabase, our database and storage provider. Sign-in is handled by Google OAuth - we never see or store your Google password.
Analytics
This website uses privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic to pages like this one. It does not track you across other sites.
Your choices
You can delete a tournament you organize at any time from inside the app, which removes its teams, players, and matches. To delete your account entirely, contact us at support@sportik.in.
Children's privacy
Sportik is intended for organizers and players old enough to register their own account and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We'll update the date at the top of this page if this policy changes materially.
